At New Jersey Manufacturers (NJM), a top-rated insurance company, our Information Security
Department is seeking a highly motivated, pro-active and results oriented Cyber Risk Analyst. The
official NJM job title for this position is Information Security Analyst.
Job Responsibilities








Provide Information Security subject matter expertise by working with business Units and
the IT department to ensure that Information Security objectives are implemented as part
of IT infrastructure, application development & cloud computing projects.
Perform periodic assessments and generate written reports regarding Information
Security risks associated with NJM’s use of technology systems, cloud computing
applications and business process outsourcing.
Research and develop written threats assessment reports of current threats to NJM’s IT
infrastructure, workstations and application systems.
Participate in Security Incident Response processes - planning, containment and
investigation.
Perform Information Security event monitoring functions, processes and procedures.
Work with IT staff in identifying and implementing NJM’s Information Security technical
control objectives.
Develop and participate in the delivery of Information Security awareness and education
materials, presentations and classes.
Provide Information Security operational support – review/approve user access
authorizations, IT infrastructure/firewall change requests and InfoSec support requests
on an as needed basis.

Qualifications:
Required Qualifications and Experience





Five years of relevant information security experience including CISSP, CISM or CISA
certification.
Good understanding of information security principles, standards, tools and
methodologies.
Bachelor’s degree in business, information systems or related equivalent work
experience.
Possess strong written, oral communication and presentation skills (report writing and
PowerPoint presentations).
Must have good interpersonal, organizational, facilitation, negotiation and time
management skills.
