EASTERN LAUNCHES NEW UNIVERSAL CATALYTIC CONVERTER CATALOG
Langhorne, PA... Eastern Catalytic, a world-class manufacturer of catalytic converters and
related emission control components, has just released its new Universal Converter Catalog,
which includes complete part listings for Eastern Universal, High Performance, and Diesel
converters. The new, 32-page, 49-state converter catalog covers the complete Eastern Universal
line, which has been expanded to fit over 95% of registered vehicles in the U.S. (excluding
California) and Canada.
With over 800 universal-fit configurations, Eastern Catalytic now offers the widest coverage for
domestic and import cars, light trucks, SUVs, and vans, as well as hard-to-find configurations for
both gasoline and Diesel engines.
The Eastern Universal Converter Catalog includes an emissions system overview, which
explains how to diagnose a converter failure, what is needed to replace it, what needs to happen
before installing the converter, and some converter basics for guidance. The catalog also
provides information on Eastern’s Direct-fit, Manifold, and Diesel Converter lines.
With over 30 years of innovation, Eastern Universal converters are designed to meet or exceed
OE specs for fit and performance and are available for engines up to 8.0L. They come in shell
sizes from 4” – 15” and are offered in a wide range of inlet and outlet size, and are available with
