NATIONAL YOUNG ARTS FOUNDATION-SENIORS

HORATIO ALGER SCHOLARSHIP-SENIORS
Online Application due: October 25, 2015

Applicants must exhibit a strong commitment to pursue and complete a bachelor’s degree at an
accredited non-profit public or private institution in the U.S. (can start at a two-year institution
and then transfer to a four-year institution). Demonstrate financial need, be involved in cocurricular or community service activities, display integrity and perseverance in overcoming
adversity, maintain a minimum 2.0 G.P.A. and be a U.S. Citizen.
MONTANA STATE UNIVERSITY-SENIORS
Completed Application, recommendations and essays due online by: December 4, 2015
Honors College and Presidential Scholarships could amount to full tuition waiver. Information on

SEATTLE UNIVERSITY SULLIVAN LEADERSHIP AWARD-SENIORS
Award Application and Early Action Admissions Application must be submitted online by:
November 15, 2015
Student must have a rigorous college preparatory coursework with strong academic achievement,
demonstrated leadership in school activities, public service, and community involvement,
commitment to justice and the good of others through service and have effective oral and written
communication skills.

WSU TRI-CITIES CRIMSON ACADEMIC CHALLENGE-SENIORS

9-12 SCHOLARSHIP OFFERINGS
PRUDENTIAL SPIRIT OF THE COMMUNITY AWARDS – 9-12
Due in the Counseling Office: October 29, 2015
Up to $1,000. Student must show proof of volunteer activities and complete an application. One
student will be selected from Colville High School to compete at the state level.

online and submit a hard copy to the Counseling Office.
VOICE OF DEMOCRACY- 9 -12
Completed Application and Audio Essay due to Local VFW Post by: November 1, 2015

This year’s theme is “My Vision for America”. The winner of this essay contest has the chance to
win a $30,000 scholarship. Local winner will advance to the state competition; state winner will
advance to the national competition. Make sure to get all entries to the VFW well in advance of
the deadline.
