Dinosaurs
“Is it a Dinosaur?”
Show and Share
Wednesday
As a class, we will sort through a series of
different animals mixed in with dinosaurs.
We will then decide which pictures go into
the dinosaur category.
Our friends are welcomed to
participate in show and
share by bringing an item or
book that goes along with
our theme or letter of the
week.
Each friend will have the opportunity to
paint a piece of paper in a sealed box with a
ball inside. Our class will shake the box to
spread the paint and create a unique
dinosaur egg.

Thursday
“Ball Prints”
“Plesiosaur Watercolors”
We will be using watercolors to paint our
Plesiosaurs. Scientists believe these
creatures lived and swam in water.
“Dino Bones”
Our friends will be digging for “Dino
Bones” in the sand. After all the bones are
found, we will compare and observe which
bones are small and which are big.
“Dino Eggs”
Each child will be picking different-colored
eggs out of a basket. They will then try to
match the eggs that they picked with the
same-colored dinosaur.
Our friends are welcomed to
bring a book to read and
share with their friends!
