About APTRI:
It gives me immense pleasure introducing Adani Power Training and Research Institute. As you
may be aware Adani Power ventured into the power business in 2006 and within a span of six years
commissioned capacity of 5280 MW while another 3960 MW is in advanced stage of completion.
The major challenge for the project execution and O&M of the first national super critical power
plant and EHVAC and HVDC evacuation was the availability of trained manpower.
Adani Power therefore launched massive effort for intensive training of each of over 3000 strong
workforce covering all levels and all functions involved in construction and O&M ofthermal power
plants, HVDC and EHVAC transmission line & sub-stations and distribution. We adopted modern
scientific tools and techniques for developing our training process. The Training needs (TNI) of over
3000 employees were collated and analysed (TNA) for designing focused programs for maximum
impact on job. The scientific approach was also used to capture inputs to develop programs to cover
Business Development, Techno-commercial, Finance, HRD and allied departments and services
spread across the country.
The outcome of this high quality intense human development effort culminated into the establishment
of Adani Power Training and Research Institute, APTRI.The Institute has developed world class
infrastructure and has initiated networking and interface with academia, training & research
institutions. The CEA accreditation for Institute is in process. APTRI is admitted as permanent
member of ISTD and actively associated with activities and events at IACET, IEEE and SHRM. and
CIGRE.
This learning center of excellence and knowledge discovery & dissemination has been built on the
deep and rich experience of distinguished senior experts and power professionals from top
utility/organizations in India and faculty drawn from academic institutions like BITS Pilani, IITs and
NITs.
Thus equipped with the infrastructure, competence and capability of scientific approach to training of
power sector professional and keeping in-line with the Adani Group vision of commitment to
contribute to nation building, APTRI has now opened its expertise to external participants. It has
already delivered series of customized training programs for participants from other
utilities/organisations.

Registration ‘Deadline: 15 days prior to program date
A seat in theprogram/course is reserved only upon receipt of training registration form accompanied by
workshop fee.
3. The seats for the workshop, will be filled on a first-come-first-served basis.
4. Additional aid: All participants are requested to bring their own laptop to effectively undertake the software training.

Discounts: A discount of 5% is available for groups of 3people, and 10% discount is available for groups of 6 or more people.
Event Cancellation: APTRI reserves the right to cancel or re-schedule the event with a 7 days' notice. In the event of such
cancellation, participants may opt to have the pre-paid fees refunded in full.
7. Participant Cancellation: In the eventof participant cancellation, only 50% of the course fees shall be refunded, provided at least 7
daysnotice is given prior to event commencement. No refunds will be given In respect to participants' cancellations received less
than 7 days prior to commencement of the scheduled workshop.
8. Force Majeure: In case of unavoidable circumstances like Administrative reasons (riots, strike, bandh, agitation, curfew, etc),
Natural calamities (flood, earthquake, bad whether etc.), Unavoidable emergency or circumstances, with trainer or training place-,
or Insufficient enrolments, APTRI holds the rights to reschedule its workshop sessions. All participants will be intimated as early as
possible & they can rejoin the rescheduled sessions against cancelled ones without extra charges. APTRI will not be liable to pay
any expenses incurred by the participant's to attend the training program in case if the event is cancelled or rescheduled due to the
above circumstances. APTRI holds the rights to take final decision on any of the circumstance / scenario not mentioned above. All
disputes are subject to Ahmedabad Jurisdiction.
