In addition, at their discretion, the Awards Committee may seek a written recommendation from the President, Vice-President, or Dean from the nominee's educational institution. 4. The Awards Committee will determine whether there is a nominee (individual or organization) who has made a significant contribution that has advanced the cause of military education. CCME members are encouraged to make nominations for this award. 2. The nominee can come from any sector - public or private, at the local, state, or national level. The nominee does not have to be a member of CCME to be eligible for this award. 3. The Awards Committee, in the selection process, should ensure the availability of the recipient for acceptance of the award at the Annual Conference. 1.
