To Whom It May Concern:
The North Coast Gladiators 16 year old travel baseball team from the Northeast Ohio area is
holding their sixth annual silent auction/reverse raffle fund-raising event to help offset the financial costs
of the upcoming season. The team will be comprised of top area athletes from the local area and is
coming off a successful 2010 season. We participated in several tournaments both in and out of the state
of Ohio and played 50 regular season games. Our team concluded the season by playing in the CABA
World Series in Chicago, Illinois. The North Coast Gladiators is a non-profit organization that will be
participating in several local, state and national tournaments for the purpose of allowing our children the
opportunity to gain a lifetime of memories in the sport of baseball.
We are asking for your help by way of donation of item(s) to our silent auction fundraiser. For
your generous donation, the Gladiator Baseball Program is honored to give free advertisement to your
company/business in the local newspaper, the Chronicle Telegram, as well as proudly displaying your
name in the program given out at the event on March 26, 2011. With your generous donation, our
program will work hard to raise the funds necessary for our youth to experience a successful and
unforgettable season.

To Whom It May Concern:
We have established our 16U travel baseball team for the upcoming 2011 season. The team will be
comprised of top area athletes from the local area whose achievements have gained State and National
recognition by College Coaches, USA Baseball and Scouting Services. Our team is coming off a
successful 2010 season in which we participated in several tournaments both in and out of the state of
Ohio and played 50 regular season games. The team concluded the season by playing in the CABA
World Series in Chicago, Illinois.
This year we will be participating in many local, state and national tournaments to offer our youth the
opportunity to participate against other programs throughout the nation. Due to the financial
responsibility of such a team, we are in search of a sponsor/sponsors to help balance our fund-raising
effort and allow our team to participate in these highly recognized tournaments. Having examined the
cost of the upcoming season including uniforms, equipment, field and umpires, travel, insurance, and
tournament entry fees, we have come to the conclusion that it will cost approximately $24,500.00 to
cover these expenses. Therefore, we are asking for your help by joining the Gladiators Hit Club, which
is comprised of five different levels. The levels are outlined on the following page.
With your financial help and support, our coaches, players and families will commit to the
representation of your company/business with dedication, sportsmanship and class. Based on the
criteria above, we would assume the cost of all advertisement and proudly display a professional banner
on the dugout of each game, thus, symbolizing your support of youth baseball. Additionally, company
advertisement will be made in the Chronicle Telegram and/or the Lorain Journal, both of who cover and
follow our team. It is our goal as a program to pursue success at the local, state and national level for
the purpose of quality representation for our players, coaches and sponsors.
