A big thank you to those who were able to go to the
Auction for Education on Saturday. We raised a lot
of money to help support our beloved Benson
programs. Thank you to Stormy Chapman, Jackie
Voorhis, and all of the committee members for
making the night extra special.

Testing
The Spring Book Fair is Monday,April 13 through
Friday, April 17. The fair will be open from 9:00am3:00pm for parents, and recess and lunch for
students. If a student would like to visit the book fair
after school on any of the days, they may do so with
a parent. If you would like to volunteer to help,

New Benson Bear Cubs
If you know neighbors or friends who live within the
Benson school boundaries, please tell them to stop
by the office to register their new cub! Early Cub vs.
Late Cub requests are recommended based upon
date/time of completed registration.
CAASPP Testing- IMPORTANT
Students in grades 3-5 will be taking the online
CAASPP state test on the following dates. It is
important they get to school on time and are well
rested the nights prior to testing.
May 4-8
May 11-15
**5th Grade will also be taking science on May 18 & 19.
It is important to plan personal events around these
dates. We appreciate your support.

Benson Garden (Need Volunteers)
Interested in helping out our school with the
garden? We need volunteers on Mondays twice a
month from 8:30-12:00. This is a great way to
spend time with students and most importantly get
involved with supporting our school! Please emailjonstott@tustin.k12.ca.us if you are interested in
helping in our garden! Without your help, our
garden will not continue to thrive and grow beautiful
learning experiences for our students.
