Safety devices are mandatory for Type B-Control
(automatic operation) according to the guidelines of the
German Accident Prevention Regulation (UVV). The
accident protection contact profile (USKP) incl. the
corresponding evaluation unit secures all shearing and
crushing points. The signal transmission to the control
is executed via an inductive current entry independent
of atmospheric conditions and sabotage attached to the
bottom rail. The gate will continue to be functional in
deadman control in case of a malfunction of the safety
devices. The system is based on self-monitoring with
function and circuit status indication and functions
according to the guidelines for power-operated gates
and doors. The safety devices comply with the latest
European Gate Standards amongst others the
EN 13241 and EN 12453.
The passage area is additionally secured by a
mandatory light beam barrier.
Corrosion protection: Primer coating, and coating in
RAL 9006, 6005, 7016, 9010 or RAL 7030

Note:
The recommended foundation dimensions represent
minimum dimensions to carry out a technically perfect
and stable sliding gate installation.
The design conforms to static requirements and
calculations. Load assumptions according to DIN 1055
are taken into account during gate construction. The
gate body is to be executed in rectangular shape. A
triangular shaped load bearing end is not permissible. A
type examination test and a GS ("Geprüfte Sicherheit" =
"Tested Safety") mark of the German Technical
Inspection Authority TÜV are available. A uniform
declaration of conformity regarding the Machinery
Directive of the European Union 98/37/EG (Machinery
Directive)
and
89/336/EWG
(EMC-Directive)
respectively is to be included.

The guide post is made of square hollow section
QR 140 with a guide unit which is fitted with 2 nos.
polyurethane rollers with a 65° A Shore Hardness. Due
to this design the aluminium abrasion rail can be
omitted.
The contamination due to aluminium abrasion is
therefore excluded. The closing post for fixation in the
closed position is also made of square hollow section
QR 140 with an adjustable support plate and gate
reception profile. The limit stop for fixation in the open
position is made of square hollow section QR 100 with
an adjustable support plate.
The gate is fitted with brackets for fence connection.
Electric Drive:
The drive unit is integrated as a drive and control unit in
the control post. The control post lockable via a sash
fastener lock is located opposite the guide post on the
inside of the building site and screwed to the base
plate. The drive unit consists of a robust and
maintenance-free
three
phase-worm-gear-motor
230/400 Volt, 50 Hz matching the gate size. The drive
unit is fitted with an integrated electromagnetic brake
and actuates the drive pinion via an elastic coupling.
The emergency decoupling during power failure or
system malfunction can be manually executed via an
integrated gear separation.
The closed gate is furnished with an interlocking
system. The patented (DE 35 36 554 C2), quiet and
reliable driving takes place via a chain which is
mounted inside the bottom rail.
The chain runs non-slippery with a chain angle of
contact of 180° around the drive pinion. The final limit
stop in the open and close position is carried out via
variable electronic proximity limit switches. The gate
speed is approx. 0.20 m/second. The fully electronic
gate control WE-Tronic is used for gate systems with
maintained command controls. This control complies
with the current European Gate Standards amongst
other the EN 12453. A phase sequence and phase
failure monitoring are standard features. A 4-line LCdisplay in combination with four function keys informs
about the numerous system data (e.g. about pre-set
times, about up to 3000 stored occurrences or 28
different cumulated status notifications).
