“Who Am I?” Speech Visual Aid Choices:
Collage:
From a variety of print sources, glue pictures, text, etc. on a poster board to design a “Who I Am” collage that
represents aspects of your person. You may choose among things that you like/dislike, hobbies, interests,
special talents, values, etc. Make sure to represent your inner self as well as your outer self.
PowerPoint Presentation:
Design a PowerPoint presentation that uses photos, drawings, images, music, etc. to depict inner and outer
aspects of yourself.
Self-Concept Box:
Create a paper box or use an actual box. Design the outer and inner surfaces of a box to represent your outer
self and your inner self. Cut the edges so that we can see the inner box as well. The outer box should
demonstrate those things that you commonly share with everyone, personality traits, habits, and mannerisms,
and the inner box should demonstrate things that you think and feel, values, and standards. You can use your
own art skills or use magazines, photos, etc.
Paper Bag:
Use a brown paper bag and design the outer part of the bag to represent those things that you commonly
share with everyone, personality traits, habits, and mannerisms. Use your own drawings or clips from
magazines, etc. The inside of the bag should contain objects that represent how you think and feel, your
values, and your standards. Think symbolically.
