Final Assessment of Para Empezar chapter: Weather Forecast Project
Overview: Students will create a weather forecast presentation and will deliver it in writing as well as
verbally.
What is due:
1. Rough Draft: With your partner write the script for your presentation. Make sure all required
topics are included. Show it to the teacher for review. Due: 10/01/12
2. Map of a Spanish speaking country for the background: Use colors and try your best to make it
look clean and well done. Use visuals to help show the weather conditions you chose for that
region. Due: 10/03/12
3. Verbal presentation to the class: Together with your partner present the weather forecast to the
class. Both students should have the same amount of lines. Due: 10/05/12
4. Final written script: Typed script in font 12, single spaced with the names of both members.
Make sure there are no spelling mistakes. Due: 10/05/12
Requirements:
 Greetings: At least 8 different greeting vocabulary words or expressions. (8)
 Calendar: Stated complete date AND at least 4 different weekdays. (5)
 Seasons: Stated season.(1)
 Time: State the time. (1)
 Weather: At least 5 different weather conditions. (5)
