Arturo Velasquez Scholarship (Daley & Arturo Velasquez West Side Technical Institute)
 Scholarship award: Up to $1,000.00 per semester; is renewable based on maintaining all eligibility requirements. Richard J. Daley,
Chicago Police and Fire Training Academy Scholarship
 Scholarship award: Last Dollar Scholarship: Awarded to graduates of CPFTA enrolled at one of the City Colleges of Chicago.
Aspire a Mas Scholarship (Daley College or the Arturo Velasquez Institute)
 Scholarship award: $250 per academic year for qualified Hispanic/Latino students enrolled
Harold Washington College Scholarship
 Scholarship award: Up to $1,000.00 per semester depending on student's financial need.
Kennedy-King- Florence Ballenger Scholarships
 Scholarship award: $2500 per semester: To students who have demonstrated academic excellence and commitment to civic service

Kennedy-King College Scholarship
 Kennedy-King, Dawson Technical Institute, Washburne Culinary Institute
 Scholarship award: Need based: up to $1,500.00. Matching grant: $250.00. Presidential Scholarship: $500.00 to four year institution.

William E. McKillop Scholarship
 Richard J. Daley
 Scholarship award: Two $500 awards per year: one to an aide in the Audio Visual area and one to an aide in the Learning Resource
Center.
Transfer School Scholarships:
DePaul University Transfer Scholarship
 Awarded to students who have attended another college and have a 3.5 cumulative GPA. Awards are offered on a funds-available basis.
 Scholarship Award : $2,000.
DePaul University Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship
 Awarded to members of P TK International Honor Society who have attended another college and have a 3.5 cumulative grade point
average in addition to completing 30 semester hours of transferable college credit at the time the recipients enroll at DePaul.
 Award Amount: up to $3,000.
Illinois State University
 New transfer students with an Associate’s Degree may be invited to apply for the Community College Transfer Scholarship.
Illinois Institute of Technology
 Chicago Police and Fire Departments Scholarship: $20,000 annual scholarships to the children and grandchildren of members of the
Chicago Police Department and Chicago Fire Department
 Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship: Active members of PTK are eligible for (up to $5,000 per year)
 Presidential Scholarships: provides support to students at two-year institutions who go on to study within all fields of study at Illinois
Tech.
Northeastern Illinois University
 NEIU Provost Merit and Dean’s Merit Scholarships: $ 2,000 will be awarded to prospective transfers who meet the specified criteria.
 NEIU Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship: Will cover up to 12 credit hours of in-state tuition per semester (fall and spring) provided recipient is
not receiving any other tuition based aid. Scholarship will cover 6 credit hours of in-state tuition for summer.
Roosevelt University
 New undergraduate transfer students are eligible to receive scholarships to attend Roosevelt
 Special Phi Theta Kappa award for PTK members who transfer to Roosevelt.
Southern Illinois-Carbondale & Edwardsville
 SIU awards scholarships to students who demonstrate the potential for superior academic performance.
 Transfer applicants are automatically considered based upon qualifying documentation that is submitted at the time of applying for
admission.
University of Illinois-Urbana Champaign
 Merit-based scholarships at UIUC are awarded to students based on high academic achievement. For consideration students simply need
to complete the application for undergraduate admission.
 Need-based scholarships are awarded based on financial need. To be considered students will need to complete the Free Application for
Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Students may also submit a supplemental form for scholarships awarded by the Office of Student Financial
Aid.
University of Illinois Springfield
 The University of Illinois Springfield offers merit-based scholarships to new transfer students!
 Scholarships will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis, so apply early!
