Greetings Scholars and Parents!! This week is an extremely busy week for all of us in Jaguar
Country!! Parents, please remember that Report Card Conferences will take place this
Thursday October 16th at 4:00pm-8:00pm. In order to receive your scholar’s report card, you
must come to parent conference night. NO REPORT CARDS WILL BE GIVEN BEFORE
PARENT CONFERENCE NIGHT!! We hope to see all of you there!!

Today is a very exciting day in Jaguar Country!! Today is the district’s annual “Principal for a
Day” event. Jaguar Country is honored to have the Mayor of Dallas Mike Rawlings and his
Chief of Staff Adam McGough. This is a huge opportunity for our scholars and staff to show off
all of the wonderful things we are doing in Jaguar Country. Thank you Mayor Rawlings and
Mr. McGough for taking time out of your busy schedules to be our Principals for a Day!!
Scholar Spotlight
Our Scholar Spotlight this week goes to Javion Armstrong from the University of Texas at
Arlington. Javion comes to school with a positive attitude and great behavior. He is at school
on time and ready to learn every day. He is an awesome role model to his peers!

Our Staff Spotlight this week goes to Ms. Mattie Pipkins. Ms. Pipkins is always working

needs. Ms. Pipkins is the site coordinator for our afterschool program, she works closely
with the 1st grade team, she oversees our parent involvement activities, coordinates our
volunteer program, and conducts monthly parent meetings. In addition, Ms. Pipkins also
assist Mr. Waters with many projects that require community partnerships. Everyone in
Jaguar Country is grateful for the things you do for our campus!! Thank you!!
