PHYSICIAN/ASSOCIATE MEDICAL DIRECTOR
GENERAL SCOPE:
The Physician will provide direction and coordination of medical care for long term care residents, and other clinical areas as assigned. He or she will be a valued member of the clinical team, reporting directly to the Vice President of Medical
Services. The Physician will take a leadership role in providing quality geriatric and palliative care within the Jewish Senior Life community.
The Physician will play an integral role in several new initiatives, including implementation of the Palliative and End of Life Care Center of Excellence (grant from Greater Rochester Health Foundation), and the Campus Renovation plan which includes construction of Green House resident-centered care homes on the
Jewish Senior Life campus and expansion of the Transitional Care Program.
Candidates with relevant experience will be considered for the Associate Medical
Director position, which will assist with program development and oversight.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Doctor of allopathic or osteopathic medicine.
Licensed to practice medicine in NY State.
Board Certified in family medicine or internal medicine. Added qualifications and/ or board certification in geriatrics or hospice and palliative medicine a plus.
