Year 11 Studies of Religion
St Mary’s Cathedral & NSW Art Gallery
On Wednesday 24th June 2015 Year 11 Studies of Religion will be travelling to Sydney to visit the St
Mary’s Cathedral & NSW Art Gallery as part of their Preliminary studies.
We will catch a train down to Sydney. The train leaves Wyee station at 7.37am. All students are
responsible for being at the station at least 15 minutes before the train leaves. Students may board the
train before Wyee but the teachers will not be responsible for them till the teachers board the train at Wyee.
The teachers must be on this train and therefore cannot wait for any late student and are not responsible
for any student who misses the train. Any student who misses the train should attend school for the day.
The students will return to Wyee station at 5.30pm. Please don’t be late to pick up your student as duty
of care dictates that I must remain till all students are picked up. My mobile phone number is 0437623411.

Students will need to pay for their rail ticket and lunch. Rail tickets cost $7.80. Please eat breakfast or bring
morning food as we will not stop for morning tea. Students will need student identification and if over 16 the
student railway pass which they can obtain from the office
The organising teachers reserve the right to exclude any student on the basis of poor behaviour.
Students are not required to wear uniform but must wear acceptable attire. No rude or offensive slogans on
T shirts. It can get very cold in the city so bring a jumper. Students must wear enclosed shoes. NO
THONGS!! Don’t bring a big back pack.
Students are required to provide for their own lunch and water. We will stop so they can buy their
lunch or eat what they have brought from home.
