Recently the magnetic nano particles have much application in the field of Nano
science. Particularly the Fe3O4 magnetic nano particles in the use of
photoelectrochemistry such as solar energy conversion, water splitting, photo catalysts
for the removal of organic and inorganic clusters from solution or different gas phase.
Generally in many types of method to prepare the magnetic nano particles such that soigel method, hot spraying, flame spray synthesis, micro emulsion, thermal decomposition
and co-precipitation.
The Fe3O4 magnetic nanoparticles were synthesized by co- precipitation method
from ferrous and ferric solutions X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy
(SEM), and vibrating sample magnetometer (VSM) and optical properties are used to
study the properties of the Fe3O4 powder. The band gap energies calculated such as a
direct and indirect method of magnetic nanoparticles. The advantage of precipitation
method over other method is that the size of the particle can be controlled easy.
