Discovered major multi-million ounce gold deposit in Nevada.
Planned and directed exploration in the United States for new mineral deposits with an emphasis
on gold. Implemented, planned and directed all aspects of pre-development programs at Mule
Canyon, Nevada and Elkhorn, Montana. Pre-development programs at Mule Canyon and Elkhorn
required coordinating all environmental activities, engineering studies, including reserve
calculations, electric power supplies, metallurgical, environmental, land-legal and governmental
reporting requirements along with all other project activities. Successfully, identified, discovered
and managed exploration on gold targets through six regional exploration offices.
Responsible for identifying major corporate acquisition opportunities. Performed mineral
appraisals and evaluations on district, regional and national scales.

Manager/Senior Geologist
 Managed exploration, property acquisition, environmental compliance, and development work
throughout the eastern U.S. Formulated programs which identified important gold exploration
targets in the southeastern U.S. Successfully explored for industrial minerals including
aggregates, clays, talc and limestone.
 Recognized Carlin Trend potential and encouraged Newmont to re-staff for new Nevada
exploration programs that led to the discovery of major gold operations yielding over 1,000,000
ounces per year. Identified key personnel to staff Newmont's new programs.

Geological and geochemical studies at Tombstone defined a new mineralized center. Field mapping and
geochemical sampling in the Drum Mountain, UT caldera located gold, lead, zinc and beryllium
mineralization. Field mapping in the Twin Buttes, AZ area; identified a new porphyry copper prospect.
