out situations.

Been awarded for having secured 6th position out of 16 gardens in the group under my
management in Borjuli T.E. Empire Plantations (I) Ltd (a sister concern of A.F.Tea Industries
Ltd., owing to increment in crop productivity, improved quality, increased percentage of tea
from leaves with simultaneous costs reduction and higher productivity of labour and
machines).

As Manager of Dhulapadung T.E. (Empire Plantations (I) Ltd.), highest realized average
price of Orthodox Teas in The Kolkata Auction 1996/97 ,amongst 16 participating gardens
(Its Pluckers’ productivity in average increased by 3 Kilograms annually; with substantial
increase in machine outputs. Consequently reducing the budgeted cost of production and
acquiring 40 hectares of highlands initially occupied by workers ,for tea plantation).

During my management at Pengaree T.E.; A.F.T. Industries Ltd. (my parent company)
achieved the honour for the highest yield/hectare of 2350 kilograms (made tea) by
improved agricultural practices and pruning pattern there by recognized the high yielding
garden in the Margherita Tea Circle in Tinsukia District, Assam

Been entrusted with the duties of Acting General Manager for sister concern of A.F.Tea
Industries ltd. Like Empire Plantations and Singlo (I) Tea Company Ltd extending for a period
1 to 6 months on several occasions between 1999 and 2005.
