Are there warning signs on all silos area about the risk of suffocation? Are silos located away from overhead power lines? Is appropriate respiratory protection provided when working in silos? Do silo ladders begin far enough above the ground (1.8m) as to be out of reach of children, or have safety device to prevent children climbing in? Policy and Practice Have all workers received safety induction to this farm? Have all workers been trained to operate machinery safely? Are all workers trained in the safe operation and use of irrigation machinery Are workers properly trained and instructed in the operation and maintenance of windmills? Is there more the one worker when working on windmills? Has wind conditions been assessed before maintaining mills?
