Positive Partnerships 2014 An Action Plan to reflect The Care Act 2014 and ‘Making a Difference’ Introduction Positive Partnerships 2014 was drafted and debated at the same time as The Care Act 2014 was passing through Parliament and Hampshire Adult Services Department began preparing its responses – in particular ‘Making a Difference’ and ‘Thinking Differently’. It is the case that the successful implementation of response to the Care Act will deliver the outcomes for Positive Partnerships. Reading the Action Plan – The action areas and the proposed actions and methodology has been developed by the Positive Partnership working group in response to the consultations. Each Action area and proposal is linked to an action to be undertaken by HCC Adult Services Department working in partnership with people in Hampshire with a disability and the strategic partners in both the Health sector and the Voluntary sector. The Board to decide and arrange in respect of Positive Partnerships – How the implementation of the strategy should be monitored How the agencies should be held publically to account How customers and those yet to use services can be involved in holding the agencies to account To negotiate and arrange customer involvement To provide 1st comment on issues arising from Positive Partnerships To determine its membership and future arrangements for membership change
