The concert is scheduled for Sunday, February 23, at 4:00 pm at Saint Luke Catholic Church, 7001 Georgetown Pike, McLean, Virginia, and will feature organist Paul Skevington. Paris is known for the incredible organs at famous houses of worship such as the Cathedral of Notre Dame, the Church of Saint-Sulpice and the Basilica of the Sacred Heart (Sacré Coeur). The French Choral Spectacular program will include some of the most familiar music of Gabriel Fauré, César Franck, Maurice Duruflé and Lili Boulanger. The concert will also showcase Louis Vierne's exciting Messe Solennelle, followed by the famous Toccata from Charles-Marie Widor's Fifth Symphony for Organ in F Major in an unforgettable arrangement for organ and choir. Artistic Director Robert Shafer enthused, “I heard a concert like it this past June in Paris, and some of the music on that program will be on this concert.” He continued, “The best choral music from 20th century France is some of the most exciting and colorful in all of the choral repertoire.” Tickets for A French Choral Spectacular are $20-$30. Group, senior, and student discounts are available. For tickets and additional information, visit citychoir.org or call 301-572-6865. The City Choir of Washington, under the leadership of Grammy® Award-winning Artistic Director Robert Shafer, has been named as one of the D.C. area’s first-class choruses (The Washington Post). Since its 2007 debut, TCCW has performed with The National Symphony, the Washington National Opera Orchestra and The Wolf Trap Orchestra at The Kennedy Center, Wolf Trap Park for the Performing Arts, Washington National Cathedral, and Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts. ### P.O.
