Adequate notice will be given so that schedule adjustments can be made. GRADE DETERMINATION: Because Chamber Choir is a performance ensemble, attendance is paramount to individual and group success. The following grading policy will be applied: 1) Students will receive a grade for each rehearsal. 2) Grade will be based on prompt attendance, participation in the rehearsal, cooperative behavior, and ability to perform the repertoire correctly. 3) Any unexcused absences will result in a 0 for the day. A performance is comparable to a final exam. If a student misses a performance, the final grade will be an F. If there are extreme circumstances for an absence during a performance, written documentation would be required. Please take note of the two major performances outlined above.
