We've all worked very hard for many hours to come together and make this happen. Sweat, blood, and (not many) tears have made this experience one I will never forget. First, I would thank my mother and Grandpa. My mother was the one who gave me my first push into music by teaching me my first piano and voice lessons. My grandpa would always ask me to sing and play for him, even when I was sad and told me to go to music. He said, "When you get old like me, you may not have anything but music to go to. You may not be able to dance or run, but you can always have a song in your head" and that has been my motto ever since. They have been the ones that have encouraged me to pursue music as my dream. If they hadn't, I would never have had the chance to audition for this part. Secondly, I'd like to thank Kristi Pulliam for casting me as Eponine! It's "Les Miserables", who wouldn't want to be a part of this show! It's great story with great music. I knew that being a Foundation of Arts production, it would be a great experience! What is your favorite portion of the show? This is an impossible question, the whole show is full of wonderful moments. I also love to read and spend every spare minute with my head buried in a good book. Anything that involves my family is the BEST time of all. And would like you to know I want people to see the injustice of labeling people. There are good people, wonderful people, who try with all of their being to do the right thing, yet fall into unfortunate circumstances that put their lives on a path that they would never choose under ordinary circumstances. It is never the wrong choice to love, to give and to forgive.
