Sertoma Wrestling Tournament: Grades 7-8 and Junior Varsity
The Grand Forks Sertoma Tournament will be held at Grand Forks Central High School on
December 11th and 12th. In addition to the varsity dual tournament, a junior varsity (9 th-12th grade)
tournament will be held on Friday, December 11th and a middle school (7th and 8th only)
tournament will be held on Saturday, December 12th.
We would like to invite your middle school and/or JV teams to our tournament. The tournament will
be double elimination with ribbons for the top four placers in each division. We will try to use middle
school and high school weight classes, but we may group wrestlers according to weight where
necessary. There will be schools from North Dakota and Minnesota, so there will be a variety of
competition for your wrestlers.
Weigh-ins for the JV tournament will be from 1:15 p.m. to 2:15 p.m. on Friday inside the wrestling
room. The JV tournament will begin at approximately 3:00 p.m. on Friday, December 11th.
The Middle School tournament will be held at Central on Saturday, December 12th. Weigh-ins will
be inside the wrestling room from 7:30 a.m. - 8:30 a.m. Middle school wrestlers can weigh-in after
their varsity teams at 7:15 a.m. Wrestling will begin at approximately 10:00 a.m. Scales will close
at 8:30 a.m. sharp.
If your high school varsity team is entered in the tournament, there is no entry fee. Schools not
entered in the varsity tournament should send $75.00 payable to: Grand Forks Tournaments, P.O.
