Proposal to offer an additional delivery mode of distance learning to
an already existing course delivered by the Cambridge Theological
Federation (CTF)
The course will be for a one-off intake in January 2015
There is a demand for a distance learning mode of delivery to
accommodate a small cohort of international students (via the Institute
for Orthodox Christian Studies) wishing to register on a distance
learning mode of delivery of the course
The students will transfer with APL to the new Common Awards MA
with the University of Durham which the CTF will offer from
September 2015
No impact on students, new course offering

approval event on 11 November 2014
The professional body the Royal College of Surgeons of England who
developed and own the curriculum framework for the Surgical Care
Practitioner will not allow the award of ‘Surgical Care Practice’ at any
award lower than a PG Diploma
If a student only completes year 1 and the first specialist module it
equates to the role of Surgical First Assistant, therefore it is appropriate
that the PG Cert carry this title
No impact on students, course commencing January 2015
