VIRTUAL ATTENDANCE
For those who cannot make it to DC for PastForward, TrustLive is a way for people to attend virtually.
New this year, virtual attendees will be able to participate in part of the 2015 PastForward Diversity
Summit.
The Virtual Viewing Kit provides virtual attendees with the resources to not only attend, but participate
in the discussions with others around the country, and world.

Learn from Federal Agencies tackling challenges and seeking opportunities on the front lines of
preservation. Main speaker is Marion Mollegen McFadden, Deputy Assistant Secretary for Grant
Programs, US Department of Housing and Urban Development. Sponsored by the Advisory Council on
Historic Preservation, the General Services Administration and the U.S. Department of Agriculture
2015 PastForward Diversity Summit
Conversation and Executive Panel Discussion on Organizational Leadership and National Partnerships
– Wed., Nov. 4, 9:00-10:15 a.m.
Leaders of national organizations representing diverse constituencies will join the preservation
community to discuss ways to work together to engage more people of color, women and the LGBT
community to preserve the places that tell the full American story. Sponsored by the National Park
Service and the Smithsonian Institution National Museum of African American History and Culture
HOW TO PARTICIPATE VIRTUALLY
Virtual participation during TrustLive and the Diversity Summit Panel is free and all are encouraged to
attend all five programs. We request that participants sign up in advance under “Virtual Attendee” on
www.PastForwardConference.org. TrustLive will be live-streamed directly from the “Virtual Attendee”
section of the PastForward website. To live-stream you will need to be connected to the internet via
laptop, tablet, smartphone … any device connected to the internet.
ENGAGE YOUR MEMBERS, PEERS, COLLEAGUES AND STUDENTS
Spread the word about your virtual attendance during TrustLive and invite others to attend. Or host a
Virtual Viewing, and lead the discussion and pose questions with your members, peers, colleagues, etc.
You may want to create your own sign up form, in which case we suggest you include a spot where
people include their twitter handle.
