Garrison Grand Ballroom
The purpose of this event is to provide all students, but especially freshmen, sophomores, and undeclared students, the
opportunity to access faculty, staff, and students from all academic departments in one location to assist in answering
academic inquiries. The event allows students to be exposed to the variety of major options available at HSU so they can
learn about specific requirements for majors, curriculum, and career options.
Additionally, networking is made easier for students who are already decided and want to meet faculty and staff from their
academic department and begin to build relationships. Also, they can meet students with similar interests which can lead to
friendships and peers relationships. Student representatives, ambassadors, club members, etc. are highly encouraged to
represent departments.
