We will also need an excuse from the appointment for that day. Any student that is picked up at 3:15 or later will need to be picked up in the Red Tag rider lane. If you do not have a tag you may come in and fill one out in the front office. Reminder, morning drop offs are at the East side door. No parent drop offs in the front of the building until after 8:05 A.M. This will help to ensure the safety of our students being dismissed to their busses. You have until the beginning of your child’s 6th grade year to get these completed. If these have already been completed, please send in a copy of the paperwork so we can update your child’s records. Be advised that a Sports Physical will not be accepted in place of a Well-Child physical, nor can a Well-Child physical be used in place of a sports physical. Camp Smile Camp for Children Who Have Lost a Loved One Camp Smile is offered to children, 7-17 years old, who have suffered the loss of a loved one. Camp Smile will be hosted at Camp Judy Layne in Menifee County Friday, May 29 th-Sunday May 31st, 2015. The campers will spend the weekend with bereavement counselors, offering a variety of participatory activities to guide the children through understanding feelings of grief and loss. Campers will have access to swimming, archery, hiking, crafts and a free t-shirt. Space is limited; applications will be screened to ensure target level of provided intervention. THE BIG SHOE DRIVE! APRIL 12TH-MAY 2ND We are collecting gently used shoes as part of our council wide service project to help our council replace camp equipment. We would greatly appreciate any help. Please drop off shoes at the Bath County Memorial Library or at your school’s FRC/YSC. Crossroads Elementary School will be hosting a community wide Blood Drive provided by Kentucky Blood Center on Thursday, May 7th-2:00PM-6:00 PM in the CES Gym. Their goal this year is to have 42 donors! Please help them have the #1 Blood Drive for Elementary Schools in the State for the second time!!! Every Donor will receive a $10 Walmart Gift Card.
