Indiana University Spring Saturday Art School 5 Saturday Classes, February 7- March 7th 10:00-11:30 a.m. Exhibition and Open House on April 4th, 10:30-11:30 a.m. Children in Kindergarten through Sixth Grade are warmly invited to join the Indiana University Saturday Art School Program for Spring 2015. Saturday Art School takes place over 5 Saturdays with all classes meeting at the Wright Education Building, 201 N. Rose Avenue. Saturday Art School provides an opportunity for children to experience visual arts instruction in supportive, small group settings. Activities involve basic artistic processes and are designed around a new theme each term. Saturday Art School is part of the IU School of Education Teacher Education program. Most sessions are taught by Art Education students and supervised by Art Education faculty and graduate students. Art Explorations for Kindergarten- 1st Grade 10:00 - 11:30 a.m. Children enrolled in this course will experience a range of 2-D and 3-D visual art activities, which may include drawing, painting, printmaking, collage and sculpture. *** Please note- children must be at least five years old and currently enrolled in kindergarten or 1st grade.
