Evaluation of module 2
"Pediatric Surgery"
The maximum number of points for current educational activity are - 120.
A student is admitted to the final control module if a student meets the requirements of
the curriculum and if for current activities, he scored at least 70 points: at least 70 points during
the practical sessions (10 x 7) and enlisted medical patients history.
The final module control is passed if a student scored at least 50 points out of 80.
Current control is carried out at each class according to specific objectives for each topic. In
assessing learning activities students should be given preference standardized methods of
control: testing, structured written work, a structured procedure for control of practical skills in
conditions that are close to reality.
With the assimilation of topics from traditional system assigned points are "5" - 12 points,
"4" - 10 points "3" - 7 points, "2" - 0 points. The maximum number of points a student can get
for current educational activity are - 120. It is the result of multiplying the number of points that
corresponds with "5" on a number of topics in the module (12 times 10).
The minimum number of points that the student can get are 70 It is the result of multiplying
the number of points that corresponds with "3", the number of topics in the module (7times10).

Traditional estimates are converted into points, the student receives practical training under the
following conditions:
Grade "5" - if performed correctly at least 90% of learning tasks (sum of scores for all activities
is 12 points)
Grade "4" - if performed correctly at least 80% of training tasks (sum of scores for all activities
is 10 points)
Evaluation of "3" - if performed correctly at least 60% of training tasks (sum of scores for all
types of work is 7 points)
Grade "2" - if performed correctly at least 60% of training tasks (sum of scores for all jobs is 0
points).
Evaluation of students' independent work in preparation for classroom practical exercises carried
out during the current control relevant to the theme of current subject.
Evaluation of mastering subjects submitted only to independent work and did not include topics
of classes is controlled during final testing.
It is mandatory to write and defense patients history.
Work is met only in the case of a positive assessment of student patient history.
The final module control is carried out on completion of all study subjects on the last lesson of
the control module.
Before final control students who completed all activities mandatory by the curriculum,
positively defended patient history and has less than the minimum score.
The form of the final module control is standardized i includes control of theoretical and
practical training.
The maximum number of final module control is 80 points.
Test - 80 tests, carried out for 80 min. The maximum number of points - 80 (1 point for 1 correct
answer).
The final module control is passed if student scored at least 50 points out of 80.
