Villawood Community Grants Program
As a cornerstone of Villawood Properties philanthropy program, we have identified ways to help build
community connections which have actively worked to bring people together.
Making it our responsibility to build a community we have incorporated programs such as Sustainability Street,
recreation and leisure centres that act as a community hub, activity facilities such as tennis and basketball
courts, playgrounds and barbeque areas, as well as family fun days and Christmas street parties. All work to
build happier, healthier and more interactive communities.
Sponsoring the communities that we help to build is a key component of the Villawood Properties
philanthropy objectives. We believe in supporting the community we develop by sponsoring a range of local
sporting groups where our residents’ children may play and other such local community organizations.
We are prepared to always give back to the communities we build in order to ensure they remain for the long
term value of the overall community, while also helping to provide a happier, safer and healthier environment
for everyone.
We encourage community groups from Barwon Heads and surrounding areas to be part of the Villawood
Community Grants Program by applying to us in writing. Please include contact name and organisation/club
details, as well as a short description of the activities of the club. Applications should consider the following:

Local community connection or focus that is relevant to 18th Fairway Villas or Barwon Heads.

Is the application for once only support or on an on-going basis.

What are the activities, values and reputation of the applicant.

Any existing sponsorships from other organisations; who are they and what recognition, publicity and
exposure do they receive.

How will the granting of a Villawood Community Grant make a difference at a local level.
Applications will be judged on their merit as part of the total Villawood Community Grants program.
