Localization Engineer (based in Prague)
Position responsibilities:
 Defining and preparing tools, processes and files for software globalization and localization
 Defining localization scope of source and support files
 Pre-processing and post-processing of files, file tracking and management, project archiving
 Performing of engineering internal QAs, solving non linguistic quality issues
 Supervising technical processes in terms of quality and productivity
 Co-ordinating deliverables and changes, tracking localization status
 Define and prepare tools, processes and files for software globalization and localization
 Provide development team with feedback on localization issues
 Prepare files for translation using standard localization tools
Essential skills and experience required:
 Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, other languages would be an asset
 Ability to work independently as well as in cooperation with team
 University degree would be an asset
 2 years of localization experience
 Comprehensive knowledge of standard office software (Microsoft Office)
 Highly organized and good at managing time and parallel tasks
 Basic programming skills (C/C++, Visual Basic, etc.) would be an asset
 Basics of scripting – Windows Scripting Host, Perl, RegEx would be an asset
 Experience with Trados, Passolo, FrameMaker and RoboHelp is preferred
 Advanced knowledge of HTML & XML formats
 Broad experience working with different software packages
