ACCESSING APPLIED BEHAVIOR ANALYSIS (ABA) SERVICES FOR YOUTH UNDER THE AGE OF
21 DIAGNOSED WITH AUTISM
SUMMARY
As noted in the alert dated July 31, 2015, Boston Medical Center HealthNet Plan, Fallon Health, and
Neighborhood Health Plan will cover Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services for the following
groups: members under age 21 with a medical need for ABA who are enrolled in MassHealth
Standard or CommonHealth and members under the age 19 enrolled in MassHealth Family
Assistance.
