Hello, The Somass Fish-Flow Committee has recommended that the water flow from Great Central Lake to the Stamp River be increased over the next week to coincide with a low pressure system and cooler temperatures moving onto the coast. This ‘pulse flow’ is scheduled to begin on Thursday evening July 9, 2015, as scheduled below. The objective of the pulse flow is to encourage and ease the migration of sockeye salmon from Alberni Inlet to the holding and spawning areas in Great Central and Sproat Lakes.
