When looking through, choose ONE partial or full completion badge which you will like for your troop to complete during your overnight stay at the museum. When you make your reservation with Lydia Dungus, Reservation Coordinator, please tell her which badge your troop has chosen. This badge activity will be done in your first hour and a half while the second hour will be your troop’s exploration time in the museum. (Upper Level) Use the Light Chase component to learn and follow the rules to play – Dodgeball, Musical Squares or Force Field. 2. (Main Level) Try a Dance Game or Light Up Twister and include everyone. Talk to your adults to discuss how scouts with disabilities could play this game or how to tweak it so they could. 3. (Lower Level) Work as a team to create a new game and play it with a troop. 4. (Upper Level) Keep score of how far the scouts can climb across the rock wall. 5. (3 Levels) Use all three levels to create an obstacle course that the scouts must complete. (Example – climb the wall, climb up the tower, race the superheroes, and play a dance game) Science Station 1. Make your own ice cream using coffee creamer. 2. Make pepper dance by pouring a small pile of pepper and salt on a tray and using a balloon. 3. Test an egg in salt water to see if it floats or sinks. 4. (Think Tank) Play Kim’s Game using 10 different items covered by a sheet. 2. (All Galleries) Listen to different sounds throughout the galleries. Write down the sounds you heard. 3. (Science Station) Play the sent game. 4. (Matter Factory) Use the microscope to look at you and friend’s taste buds. What did you notice? 5. (Matter Factory) Explore the texture wall by touching the various forms of matter. Use your senses to figure out what they are without looking? Invention Convention 1. Come up with different things you can make from circles. 2. Find a way to make a rocket go through a hoop. 3.
