The control module shall be programmed to control all functions of the packer, pump and engine speed up. Some of the programmed features will include: i. Pump on/off. ii. One or three cycles. iii. Engine speed up with packer cycle (only if neutral signal present from transmission.) iv. Soft shift of packer valve spool to prevent hydraulic shock. v. Means of automatically terminating the pack cycle and reversing the ram after a certain time period should the packer be packed out and not able to fully extend, thereby preventing the system from going over relief for an extended period. vi.
