Although group members may differ in ideology, we agree that ending the US financial aid and military support for Israel will contribute to a more peaceful and democratic solution. CJP opposes Zionism when used as a racist and nationalist ideology as well as any other form of racism including anti-Semitism. Under international law (UN general Assembly Resolution 3236), and according to the UN Charter, the Palestinian people and every oppressed people maintain the right of resistance and self-determination. The Committee for Justice in Palestine supports this right, but condemns all attacks against civilians.
