2. Either BIOL 101 or BIOL 103 is required in the fall before taking BIOL 104 in the spring.
3. Most BIOL, CHEM, and MATH classes require a grade of C or better in the pre-requisite course.
4. Most Biology electives are offered in alternate years; the exception is BIOL 212 which is offered every fall.

General Graduation Guidelines
 Total of 124 semester hours, 30 of which must be numbered 300 or 400. (A total of 150 semester
hours required for B.S. in Public Accounting).
 Five – 3 or 4 credit courses meeting distribution requirements.
 At least one course designated as Non-Western.
 Basic educational proficiency requirements of 21 semester hours.
 A sophomore-level writing intensive course.
 A graduation major.
 A cumulative GPA average of C (2.00) and at least a C average in the graduation major, not
counting cognate courses; a C average is also required in any minors which a student may elect.
 The last 36 semester hours must be earned at Adrian College or in programs approved by the
College.
