SE Shipping Lines (SESL) is a heavy lift / project vessel owner / operator, established in 2007. Actively
developing many areas of the global break-bulk market, our expertise in wind energy cargoes and
ambitious expansion plans has seen our fleet grow to 10 modern multipurpose / heavy lift vessels, with an
additional 4 new building vessels on order.
Headquartered in Singapore, SESL is now looking to recruit a Chartering Executive / Manager to join our
representative office in Sydney, Australia. SESL offers exciting and challenging opportunities in a
growing niche market and needs the right individuals who are self-motivated and career-driven to join us
on this journey.
Primary Responsibilities
Cargo booking for owned / operated vessels;
Assess enquiries, maintaining competitive tariffs and issuing competitive rates for project / heavy
cargoes;
Maintain efficient space utilisation of vessels;
Studying / networking for market trends and intelligence;
Identify and develop the company’s network vis-a-vis brokers, ship owners and cargo principals;
Well-versed and responsible for charter parties / booking notes and understand their legal and
contractual implications;
Development of strategic relationships and partnerships / company branding;
Customer relationship management;
Handling and managing operational requirements for vessel calls in Australia / Oceania
Requirements
Minimum 5 years experience in project / heavy lift / break-bulk markets
Ambitious, self-driven and results-oriented
Good interpersonal and leadership skills
Organised & attentive to detail
