and can also offer up different food products that are close to expiry to other users in the surrounding
areas who may find a better use for it. This will reduce waste.

International Girls Association and Pink Star were two teams of Girls who developed two separate
ideas around women’s empowerment and equality. The judges asked these two teams to combine
their Big Ideas

To make business people more aware of health and weight issues by adapting their office chairs to
encourage exercise

A business which supplies healthy and nutritious foods to families in the UK who are on a low budget.
Giving families the chance to enjoy meals, become healthy and give the whole family an opportunity to
get involved in making meals

To create a lunch box that will help children lead a healthier lifestyle by giving them the suggested
portion sizes, nutritional information and food types that they should be eating.
SNAZ/ CONNECTING ENV/SOCIAL A fun and educational website to help students develop their understanding of a student's life in

To create an app that lets you see how much water you are using each day and how much you could
be saving. We would set a target for people, if they stayed within their target the money saved would
be used towards a water charity and to offset their bills.

A device you add to your tap to programme how long the tap runs for (e.g. to wash your hands, brush
your teeth etc) to help reduce water waste.
