Parking
We would like to thank you for supporting us in our efforts to keep Clepington children safe.
Most parents/carers are now parking in designated parking spaces and using the public car
park more often. However, we continue to see a number of parents/carers continue to stop on
the zigzag and double yellow lines. We have been in contact with the council and hope to
extend the yellow lines. We will continue to monitor the situation. If any parents have any issues
with the parking, please feel free to get in touch with me at the school.
PLEASE NOTE – we will continue to monitor the situation and write to individual drivers who we
feel have stopped/parked unsafely in an effort to ensure the safety of all at Clepington. Thank
you for your support.
School Website
Our school website is now live. It can be accessed by parents via the Dundee City Council
Website or via the following link:
http://clepingtonprimary.ea.dundeecity.sch.uk/
We will try to keep it updated as much as possible. The class pages are yet to be developed,
we hope to get to this soon. We hope that you find it helpful.
Cinema Trip
The children (and staff) all had a great time at the cinema in December. The behaviour of the
children was fantastic. Well done everyone. Hopefully we can do this again in December 2014.
Thank you again to the CPP and everyone who donated monies during the Christmas Fayre
evening as this all contributed to the cost of the
buses and entrance fee.
Cultural and Arts Week
Our Cultural and Arts week is in full swing! Thank
you so much to Mrs Solazzo and Mr Webb for all
of the organisation. The children loved the lion
dance on Monday this week and we would also
like to say a huge thank you to parents and
grandparents who volunteered to give up their
time to run art, music and drama activities for the
children this week. It has been a great success.
