Mooresville Boys Junior Basketball League (MBJBL)

The MBJBL is a not-for-profit organization and is a program of services to the youth of the Mooresville community. MBJBL promotes the
development of citizenship and sportsmanship while providing an outlet for athletic activity. MBJBL is designed to teach the spirit of
competition as a team, the values of physical fitness through the challenge of physical skills, and the game of basketball.
Participation in all league activities shall be limited to youth residing within the school boundaries of the Mooresville Consolidated School
Corporation, or attending Mooresville Schools. Teams are formed for children in Grades 1 through 8. The teams are formed based on grade level
and not age.
Practice sessions will be held at the elementary school gyms in the Mooresville Consolidated School District, as available. First, Second, Fifth,
Sixth and 7th/8th grade games will be played each Saturday at Paul Hadley Middle School, while Third and Fourth grade games will be played at
The Newby Dome. The first game is scheduled on December 5, 2015. The draft will be held on November 14th and practices will begin the
week of November 16th.
The cost for the 2015-2016 season will be $85.00 for the first sibling participant and $65.00 for the second sibling participant. After 2 sibling
participants are paid, the additional sibling participants are at no charge. These amounts must be received with this registration form to be
eligible for the draft.
Registrations may be mailed to the address above, dropped off at Tri-County Sports, or brought to open registration at the Newby Dome
from 9:00am to 12:00 pm, October 24th and October 31st . The registration deadline is October 31st. No registrations will be accepted
postmarked after October 31st, 2015.
Registration fees are used to cover many costs including referees, custodians, awards, uniforms, and facility expenses.
