Copies to student, student’s file, Doctoral Committee Chair, Comprehensive Examination Chair.) Select Doctoral Committee and Committee Chair (at least 3 members) (See Appendix H: Doctoral Dissertation Committee Appointment Form. Copies to student and Committee Chair and Members; Original to Program Chairperson to obtain Dean’s and Department Chair’s signatures and file in students’ file.) Prepare 2 – 3 page dissertation prospectus, including brief theoretical background and preliminary research design and submit it to committee for approval. (Preparation of the prospectus is one of the requirements of EDUF 8129.)
