SUMMER JAM NEWS – All teams will compete on Saturday only. Provisional running order
should be with us soon.
NEW SEASON 2013/2014 Season
Will start w.c – Monday 29th July.
From this date you will attend your new classes for the new season. You will receive a letter
with your new class, times and term fee’s very soon. If you have any problems with classes
you have been put into please speak to your coaches about this.
Training over the summer will continue as normal for all teams and will be on a full size
sprung floor. This is the best time for all athletes to learn new skills ready to put in next
seasons routines. Tumble classes will be running on a weekly basis for athletes to attend
(please see tumble classes below for times).
Summer Payment – Will be weekly. Price will depend on the amount of hours you do and
will be included in your breakdown. The new 10 week term will start w.c Monday 2 nd
September.
End of Season BBQ and Open Gym
This months open gyms will mark the end of an amazing season. So come along and
celebrate. There will be a BBQ and the usual tuck shop. Anyone welcome
Junior
A dedicated shorter, more structured Open Gym for our younger athletes. (14 years and
younger) Anyone welcome - bring along your friends.

Uniform
Can you please ensure all athletes are wearing the correct uniform to training:
* Rising Stars white tshirt (available now from £8.50)
* Black soffe shorts (available now £10)
* White trainer socks
* Clean white cheer trainers
* Hair tied up with a white bow
Lunar and Midnight Tryouts – NEW SEASON
Midnight (Coed 5) Tryouts– Sunday 14th July 2013 10-3pm Lunar (Coed 5) Tryouts – Monday
22nd July 2013 6.30-9.30pm
Athletes must be 13 years old to try out for these Senior teams. Tryout forms are available
now.
NEW TEAM FOR 2014 Season - Zodiac
Due to the growth of our Senior Teams across the board we will be introducing a brand
new Senior All Girl Level 2/3 team age 12+. If you are interested in joining this team please
speak to your coaches. This team will be training on Mondays 6 – 7.30pm.
Members of the Youth and Junior teams do not need to tryout again for the new season.
Your coaches will speak to each athlete individually as to the whether they will be moving to
a different team for the new season. If anybody would like to do any extra classes please
speak to your coaches regarding this.
Tumbling Classes – as of 29th July 2013
NEW Weds – 6.30-7.30pm Senior Beginners tumble class
NEW Mon – 7.30-8.30pm Senior tumble class
NEW Weds– 5-6pm Twinkles, Youth and Junior teams
Weds– 9-10pm Junior and Senior Intermediate tumble class
Sat– 9-10am Advanced tumblers
Tumbling classes are £3.00 which you can bring on a weekly basis. Please speak to
your coaches if you are unsure of which tumble class you should attend.
Business to Business
We are intending to include a business to business page on our website. Anybody who
would like to promote their business. Please forward your details to us.
RECRUITMENT
We are still recruiting for most teams.
If you know anyone who is interested in joining please ask them to email
therisingstars@hotmail.co.uk
If anyone would like to try out a dance team class as well as a cheer team or vice
versa please speak to your coach and we can arrange for you to do a free taster
session.
