FAQs for Registering in Bangalore Shivir 1. I am a new sadhak and have not attended any of the programs. Can I attend this shivir? Yes, anyone can attend this shivir. 2. What is the contact number for any queries? 9483748484, 9880650337, 9880378253, 9341232725 3. How do I register for the shivir? The quickest and most convenient way is to register online. You will first need to create your profile at https://sadhak.shivyog.com and then log into the web app to register for the shivir. On successful completion of creation of your profile, you will get a number which will be a unique no. This is your unique Shiv Yog ID no., which will allow you to register for any future shivirs without filling in the basic details again and again. If for some reason you cannot make an online payment, you can make a Demand Draft in favour of “GeetanjaliYog LLP” payable at “New Delhi”. Then please register yourself online and choose the “Demand Draft” option and fill in the details. Once you reach the confirmation page, please send your Demand Draft along with the printed form to the address mentioned on the web application. I am an overseas Sadhak, how can I make a payment and register myself for this shivir? Overseas sadhaks can register at https://sadhak.shivyog.com and make an online payment for registering in the shivir. 5. I created my profile on the webapp, last time I attended the shivir. Do I need to create it again for this shivir ? No, your Login ID – SYID is a permanent and Unique Id no, which can be used for attending all your future Shiv Yog shivirs and communications with Ashram. You are therefore requested to keep it safely. FAQs: REGISTRATION V2.0 (2015) Page 1 of 5 6. I do not know how to operate a computer or how to make an online payment. How can I register? You can choose to make a Demand Draft and visit your nearest registration centre (RC). They will assist you with your registration. Please do call a registration centre / Helpline Numbers first before making a visit. ( The details of RC list will be provided soon ) 7. I have forgotten my login id - SYID/ password that I had registered with. How do I get my SYID. Please visit the web app at https://sadhak.shivyog.com and click the “Need Help” link on the Login page. A popup will appear with the helpline numbers and email. You can call or email to request for a Password Reset. 8. Is it mandatory to upload photo ID and address ID? Yes it is mandatory that you upload your Photo ID and address ID before attending the shivir. 9. How do I upload my Photo ID and Address ID? Please log into the web app at https://sadhak.shivyog.com and click “My Profile” button. Then click the “Additional Details” tab. You can upload your Photo an Address ID on this page. If you cannot do it yourself you have following options available: Please call up the Help line numbers to find out who can help. All RCs can be approached with the request to help you uploading your photo and ID proofs. Look for Registration Seva Kiosks at Satsang centres/ ASHRAMS and SHIVIRS, and if they are their please provide the docs to them they will help you the get the needful done. As last alternative please get your photograph, id proofs at the Venue to collect your Admission CARDS, you will see a separate COUNTER to help you upload the photo and ID proofs and then issue your admission card. 10. What will be issued to me that will confirm my registration? If you've registered online at https://sadhak.shivyog.com/ and made an online payment, you will receive a confirmation via SMS. Overseas sadhaks will receive confirmation via email. If you have registered yourself by selecting the DD option as mode of payment then you will get your registration confirmed only after the DD is received at Ashram. As soon as the DD is received at Ashram, the SMS is sent to your registered mobile number. Please note that the Registration number that you receive as soon as you register online via DD tends to be cancelled if DD does not reach Ashram (the mentioned address on the WEB APP) within a week. So, Please take care that you send DD to the address on an urgent basis. There are three categories from which you can register in any one to attend this shivir. Rear Seating (Category C) - Rs. 6000 + 12.36% Serv. Tax = 6741.6 INR Middle Seating (Category B) - Rs. 10000 + 12.36% Serv. Tax = 11236 INR Preferential Seating (Category A) - Rs. 15000 + 12.36% Serv. Tax = 16854 INR Please Note: If registering via online payment, there may be an additional service / convenience charge. More details are available on the Registration page on the web app at https://sadhak.shivyog.com. Please take a note of the Convenience Charge Details getting reflected on the SCREEN as soon as you select ONLINE PAYMENT while registering yourself. Refer the screenshot below for details: 12. Can I bring my child, who is below 12 years. He / she has attended shivirs earlier? NO, the minimum age for attending this shivir is 12 years. If your child is of 12 years or above, you may register him/her for the shivir. Children below 12 years will NOT be allowed in the premises. Please also note that, there is NO on-spot accommodation for children / family members who are not attending the shivir. Please plan your trip in such a way, that there is someone to take care of your child / family member when you're attending the shivir. 13. Will there be ON-SPOT registrations? FAQs: REGISTRATION V2.0 (2015) Page 3 of 5 NO, there are no spot registrations planned for this shivir. Since there are limited seats, it is recommended that you register for this shivir as soon as possible. It is purely based on FIRST Come FIRST Serve basis. PLEASE DO NOT TRAVEL WITHOUT CONFIRMED REGISTRATION. 14. When will I get my entry tags? Distribution of entry tags or cards are generally initiated 2 days before the shivir starts. The organizing team will communicate the location, process and timing for card distribution few days prior to the shivir. Normally the Distribution Venue is kept same as the venue of the shivir, any exceptions will be duly notified by SMS. PLEASE DO GET YOUR PHOTO ID PROOF TO COLLECT YOUR ADMISSION CARDS, and if someone else is collecting the card on your behalf please provide an authority letter with a copy of your ID proof to that person who comes to collect the CARD. PLEASE NOTE THAT IN THE FOLLOWING CASES YOU WILL NOT BE GIVEN YOUR ADMISSION CARDS: IF YOUR ONLINE PROFILE IS NOT UPDATED WITH YOUR PHOTO , PHOTO ID PROOF AND ADDESS ID PROOF, Refer POINT 6 for Details how to Upload them. IF YOU HAVE REGISTERED yourself / yourselves via DD and the DD has not yet REACHED ASHRAM. 15. What happens if I lose my receipt number or tags after registration? In case of lost admission cards, NO new duplicate CARDS will be issued, thus it is strongly recommended to keep your ID card secure as losing your cards will require a fresh registration. 16. In case I am not able to attend can someone attend on my behalf? In case you wish to transfer your registration to someone else, please contact the shivir organizing team. The team will review and transfer your registration to another person as per your request after making appropriate changes in the record. 17. Is there an option that I can choose for sitting on the floor or chairs? There is no way of selecting your preferred seating option. However, in case you have a need which restricts you from sitting on chair / floor, you can write about it in the details section at the time of registration. Although, a request does not guarantee preferential seating, our organizing team will try its best to allot you a seat considering your need. 18. Can I bring eatables inside the hall / premises? NO, Eatables are not allowed in the hall / premises. Though, you can carry water bottles. 19. Is use of mobile phones allowed during the shivir? Please DO SWITCH OFF your mobile phones in the shivir hall (SadhnaPandal) at all times. 20. Can I audio/video record the shivir? NO, recording of audio or video by any means is strictly prohibited during the event. Please read the Terms and Conditions carefully before attending. Please feel free to contact any of the shivir helpline numbers and let them know how you can help. 22. If for some reason I am not able to attend the shivir, will I get my refund? Yes, you can get a refund only under the circumstances that you initiate a cancellation require before the shivir starts. Additionally, the amount of refund may vary based on the timing of your cancellation request. It is recommended to initiate the cancellation process as soon as you decide to cancel your registration.
