How to Beat Anxiety – tips and techniques Materials: Test Anxiety Questionnaire and “How to Beat Anxiety” Handout (1 sheet, Double Sided) Anxiety Resources handout Remember to help students change their mindset about test. Put into perspective, build positive outlook, and have students evaluate their negative self-talk before tests Really connect the importance of test preparation to lessening anxiety and also discuss how students can better prepare/study more efficiently and effectively for tests Get students to recognize if they need to get help for clinical levels of anxiety
