There is some flexibility in the order of the Chemistry/ Biology/ and Physics sequence courses. It is recommended that Chemistry be
taken freshman year and Biology no later than sophomore year. Chem and Bio can also be taken concurrently freshman year. Physics
is best taken junior year.

Sixteen credits in electrives in Biology, or courses completed through the UW-Madison Collaborative program to be chosen in
consultation with a Biology Department Advisor. Note that some of these courses may require MATH 321 and MATH 322 as
