Entries close Saturday, Oct 11th at 8:00 pm.
$12.00 for the first hound /owner, $10.00 for each additional hound. Five or more
dogs, same owner, $32.00 per day. Please include your cell phone number on your
pre-entry.
Mailed entries must arrive by Thursday October 9th.

Inspection and roll call begins at 8:30 am.
Owner’s meeting at 9:00 am.
Meet consist of 3 programs of 4 dog races in a 200-yard straight track.
Participants are expected to volunteer for various points of the track: Foul Judges
and Line Judges. In addition, one needs help to take dog to the boxes and to catch
at the finish.
Qualification runs will be required for all FTE dogs before they may compete. This
can be done at an earlier meet if available, and documented with the LGRA
Qualification Form found at LGRA.ORG.
All dogs must run with muzzles and race blankets.
Ribbons will be awarded for first, second, third, fourth, fifth, High Score Confirmation
CH, High Score Vet, High Score FTE, Turtle, High Score Best of Opposite and High
Score Breed.
All hounds must be 1 year of age or older on the day of the race meet,
and must neither be lame, sick, nor in season.
Each hound must have a completed and signed entry form with their LGRA number.
First Time Entered (FTE) hounds are encouraged to apply for a LGRA number at least
2 weeks before the meet. Contact Race Secretary with concerns or questions.
FACILITIES
There is very little shade and NO water available, so please plan
accordingly. No overnight parking permitted. No dogs are allowed off-leash, other
than when racing.
FOOD
No food will be provided, so please plan accordingly. There aren’t any places
nearby that deliver, so make sure you bring your own! There are a few places to get
food nearby on route 31 in the town of Ringoes. There will be no official lunch break
so as to complete the meet and allow travelers to get on the road.
PRACTICES
There will be practice runs ONLY between programs. NO practices after the meet on
Sunday.
DIRECTIONS:From north and east (Morristown, etc), I-287 S to Route 202 S to
Route 179 S (Lambertville) or I-78 W to Route 31 S, (passing the exit for Route 179
West). Where 31 and 202 split about 8 miles south of Flemington, stay on 202 and
then Route 179 south (Lambertville). When you come off the exit ramp, continue past the
first entrance to the 4-H Fairgrounds (on your right), then go about 500 feet to the last gate on
your right.
From south and east (NJ shore), I-195 to I-295 N which becomes I-95 S, Exit 4
Route 31 N, which joins Route 579 N; where 31N joins Route 202, stay left on Route
579, and take the first left onto Melbourn Lane (the sign might be missing, but if you take the
first left, you'll get there). At the end of Melbourn Lane turn left onto Route 179 S and the
field entrance will be just over a mile on the right ; OR Exit 1 Route 29 N to Route 179
N to field on LEFT about 5 miles.
From south and west (Philadelphia) I-95 N to Exit 1 Route 29 N to Route 179 N to
field on right about 5 miles OR I-95 N to Exit 4 Route 31 N to Route 202 S to Route
179 S to field on RIGHT, about 500 feet after the first entrance to the 4-H Fairgrounds
(on your right), to the last gate on your right.
From north and west Allentown I-78 E to Route 31 S, where 31 and 202 split about 8
miles south of Flemington, stay on 202 and then Route 179 south
(Lambertville) to field on RIGHT, about 500 feet after the first entrance to the 4-H
Fairgrounds (on your right), then go about 500 feet to the last gate on your right.

Directions from field: Make a right out of the field. Turn onto route 202 North. Go
19.3 miles on route 202 North. Be sure to stay on route 202 North through the
circle. Take route 206 South/Route 28 ramp towards Somerville/Princeton. Enter the
next roundabout and take 1st exit onto route 206 South. Go 3/10 of a mile to #21.
