Call for Presenters
20 - 21 September 2012
Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre
Velg Training is calling for presenters for the 2012 National VET Conference. The theme for the
conference is Learn, Connect, Thrive. Historically, the National VET conference has attracted
over 500 delegates at each event for 4 consecutive years, and is now the largest annual
gathering of VET managers and practitioners from across Australia.
Attendees of the conference will be divided into two distinct client groups – RTO Management
and RTO Trainer/Assessors.
Presentations should ideally align with one of the following three main categories:

Policy and Compliance

Teaching and Learning

RTO Business Management
Velg Training will be considering presentations on a wide range of VET related topics.
Presentations that are able to provide a real world case study and demonstrate relevance and
alignment with subject matter will be highly regarded. Additionally, select sessions are sought
which could be presented in a hands-on workshop style format (90 minutes).

As a presenter you will:

Further develop a reputation as a leader in your industry and an expert in your field

Obtain recognition and visibility through our extensive marketing campaign

Have your biography printed in the Conference handbook

Receive one free conference registration and 50% off for an accompanying guest

Enjoy a complimentary ‘standard guestroom’ the night before your presentation (if
required)
All other travel expenses are to be paid by the presenter.
The deadline for receipt of presentations is 17 February 2012.
