Primarily the Facilities Manager, Lisa Melhopt but also the Chief Operating Officer, Angela Buchanan and Senior Manager IT, Paul Fraser. Has ACECQA or the person at ACECQA worked with corporate property services companies before on fit outs and office moves – if so, what was their experience: what would they do again and what would they avoid? ACECQA has undertaken previous fitouts at its current location. ACECQA’s requirements are specified in the RFT. What’s ACECQA’s biggest concern about the project? There are no specific concerns. The successful tenderer/s will be required to meet the timeline specified in the RFT. What sort of companies do you enjoy working with – e.g. small, medium or larger organisations? ACECQA holds no preference, we seek best practice/performance, value and expertise. What style of companies do you enjoy working with – e.g. conservative, personable etc.? We hold very strong relationships with all of our service providers and will continue to seek a close association which includes informed communications about all parts of the project at all times. How hands on are you in relation to the project e.g. do you want to be very involved or would you prefer to have someone run the entire project on your behalf but keeping you informed in every step of the process? We would expect our provider to have the ability and experience to deliver outcomes and requirements in close collaboration with ACECQA. The specific nature of the communications and relationship will be subject to negotiation with the successful tenderer/s. Do you have additional filing requirements other than staff personal items to allow us to provide sufficient crates? We have approximately 12 storage cabinets that contain files for various department groups. This includes files within a six bay compactus which each department will box up for relocation. ACECQA is seeking indicative construction costs based on the requirements in the RFT. 5 iMacs, 22 Dell 9010 workstations (2 with no screen, 8 with one screen and 12 with two screens), 16 laptops (3 with docking stations) Quantity of hardware (docking stations, monitors, stands, mice, keyboards etc) Quantity of re-use peripherals (electronic whiteboards, desktop printers, monitor arms) Quantity of MFC printers 12 desktop printers, 8 x electronic whiteboards, 65 monitor arms (18 double, 47 single) 10 wireless access points, 2 wireless controllers 1 rack mounted NAS 3 MFC printers (1 pre-move and 2 during move weekend) Quantity of telephony equipment (desk phones, teleconference units, videoconferencing equipment) Approximately: 86 desk phones, 2 teleconference units Video conferencing: Boardroom – Two plasma TVs, 1 projector, 1 equipment rack containing video equipment, 1 projector screen, 1 control iPad, 1 wireless access device Meeting Room – 1 projector, 1 projector screen Breakout area – 1 projector, 1 plasma TV, 1 DVD player, 1 AMX switching device Quantity of IT to be disposed of Approximately: 50 Dell 990 workstations 8 laptops and docking stations Will the tenderer be required to decommission equipment in the communications room of the existing property and what is involved in decommissioning, including quantity? The majority of the equipment in the existing communications room is vendor owned or will be re-used at the new site. The exception is the following equipment which will be decommissioned and disposed of: 1 HP E5412zl network switch 1 Riverbed 1050 network optimisation device Note that existing server rack and patch panel will not be decommissioned or transported as they will remain at Elizabeth Street site. Packing for kitchens Service provider to undertake packing of all equipment including kitchen items.
